Wireless Magazine
A free, full colour glossy A5 magazine distributed fortnightly to over 50,000 students in eight major student areas of the UK with the number of towns and cities set to increase considerably over the coming year.
The magazine features national content such as music interviews and editorial, articles, competitions and fun stuff, as well as regionalised event listings and information. Our main ethos is that it is written by the students, for the students as we aim to give up and coming student journalists in each of the universities the opportunity to get their work published on a broader basis than simply their local student newpaper, giving them a much needed leg up in a very competitive industry.
All the advertising in Wireless Magazine can be done on a regional level as well as a more widespread basis - meaning that localised companies can enjoy the same level of promotion as the more national companies. Every fortnight we also offer 2 pages of tear out vouchers in the centre of the magazine, these can be anything from 10% off a haircut to a free shot at the bar to afree cuppa with every sandwich! By doing these the students know that each time they pick up the magazine they will be able to get a good deal from local or national companies, and it means we can massively reduce the need to fill the magazine with advertising (nobody in their right mind wants to read a magazine full of adverts) and can concentrate on offering the students a higher level of editorial content and substance.
